Abstractions

The various geometries in Antonio García work point towards traditional worldviews. Some, vibrant as in the Ícaros (songs in rituals) and Kenes (graphics in textiles), emerge from master plants like ayahuasca; others may simply be abstractions of figurative forms, converging with the everyday life of communities so attentive to the details of nature, human and non-human, where each entity is personified.
